100% Natural Vegan Handmade Toothpaste
This is a homemade all natural toothpaste, rich in anti-bacterial and healing oils to help us fight against tooth & gum diseases (including bleeding gums and Periodontitis) and keep brilliant oral health.
Coconut Oil naturally fights the fungal infection candida in your mouth. It also helps to reduce the bacteria that cause cavities and boost the microbiome in your gut.
Sodium Bicarbonate’s alkalinity helps balance pH in the mouth and helps whiten the teeth by removing stains.
I’ve added a good amount of French Pink Clay to help with mineralisation of our teeth. 100% natural and mineral rich, French Clay is a wonderful way to draw toxins, nourishes and stimulates blood circulation encouraging gum regeneration. It also helps to whiten and polish teeth.
The active salt component in Himalayan Pink Salt is not only beneficial for teeth enamel but it’s also very healthy for the gums. The most common problem that leads to teeth enamel being eroded is over acidity in the mouth, so Himalayan salt will help build a pH neutral mouth flora guarding gums and teeth enamel.
Apart from regulating over acidity, washing mouth out with Himalayan Pink Salt will also help eliminate bad breath, bleeding of the gums and reduce tartar from between the teeth.
Xylitol is a natural sweetener derived from the fibrous parts of plants. It does not break down like sugar and can help keep a neutral pH level in the mouth. Xylitol also prevents bacteria from sticking to the teeth. This is how it protects the teeth from tooth decay. With the dental benefits of Xylitol, the acid attack that would otherwise last for over half an hour is stopped.
The toothpaste is enriched and scented with Clove Oil, Tea Tree Oil and Peppermint Essential Oils, which help in killing all the bacteria and prevent gum recession and tooth decay as well. They reduce gum inflammation and has anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They also stimulates tissue formation and can encourage new tissues to grow in the place of damaged ones.
But don’t forget that brushing is the number one way to protect your teeth from decay 😊 So keep brushing!
Storage: Coconut oils melts at 24 °C, so keep the toothpaste in a colder place. If it melts, the ingredients will separate and you could stir them well and keep in a fridge until it gets solid again. Do the same if the toothpaste separates during transportation.
